National Human Trafficking Prevention Month
Right now, a survivor of human trafficking needs a safe place to sleep, a hot meal, and a chance to believe in a future free from exploitation.
About Human Trafficking
Human trafficking is not a problem of the past or a tragedy restricted to distant lands; it is a crisis occurring in our cities, our suburbs, and our neighborhoods. The Salvation Army’s campaign is a call to action to end this severe exploitation. We believe that every person is created with inherent dignity and worth. Our mission is to Open Eyes to the reality of trafficking through education and awareness, and Open Doors to freedom and healing for survivors through comprehensive care and shelter.
